Vista Outdoor Photographer/Videographer in Scotts Valley, California
Bell is currently seeking a Photographer/Videographer to join the Brand Design team. We are looking for a person with both photography and videography experience to create product and lifestyle content for our Bicycle and Motorcycle divisions.
Working with the Brand Design team, you will shoot and edit photos and videos from our onsite studio and on location, as needed, for sales, marketing, and social media content. You will be expected to maintain a consistent brand identity and style that showcases our products and builds upon our global identity and reputation. You will be responsible for all post-production and final deliverables for everything you shoot—a large portion of the job is production work.
Our ideal candidate is a team player who has a solid background in photo and video production, from pre- to post-production. This includes shooting, editing, color correction, basic sound mixing, and proper soundtrack selecting skill. Bell has multiple product channels with a diverse consumer base, so someone with experience with a variety of audiences, price points, budgets, timelines, and priorities is highly desirable.
In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate initiative, organization, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. We are a collaborative team and the Photographer/Videographer will have the opportunity to contribute to the creative direction of individual projects and to the department as a whole.

Essential Job Functions:
Shoot and edit high-quality studio product photos and videos.
Shoot and edit high-quality lifestyle and action photography on location, if needed.
Film and edit high-quality video content with a focus on creating engaging videos for marketing and social media.
Edit and prepare video assets from contracted creators for internal distribution and marketing channels.
Prepare assets to be used across a broad range of channels (i.e. print, email, social, web, and mobile).
Perform post-production work, including editing, motion graphics, color correction and audio adjustments ensuring the photos and videos retains the mood, style, and delivery as specified.
Create storyboards and sketches to help nail down ideas or video script through visualization.
Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and script marketing and social media videos.
Maintain and manage image library, storage, and file-sharing systems.
Education and Training:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of experience in creating quality photo and video content, both inside and outside a studio setting.
Proficient in the full Adobe Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator — Motion Graphics, Davinci Resolve, and Audition skills are a plus.
Proficient with Mac OS.
Familiarity with Nikon, BlackMagic, and Panasonic camera systems.
Understanding of image library and storage systems.
Graphic Design experience or experience working with Graphic Designers a plus.
Drone operator’s license a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
A sharp eye for creative and compelling visuals.
Excellent digital media file management and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize time efficiently and effectively.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience using photo and video cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in post-production and editing for both photo and video.
A strong sense of pace and timing, a knowledge for the best ways to grab viewers, and a sense for how to connect with audiences in as little time as possible.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables.
Ability to absorb and respond to creative feedback and willingness to revise and improve the content on an on-going basis.
Experience in a fast-paced production team environment with tight deadlines.
