Job Description

General Purpose

• System Level Product Design

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with cross functional team to design and perform key research tasks related to developing digital cameras and imaging systems.

• Work with electronics team to specify system electronics architecture: power systems, signal paths, data bandwidth, interconnects for camera based imaging systems.

• Work with Computer Vision Engineer to research and specify optical parameters: lenses, resolution, Field of view, depth of field, resolution.

• Model optical system parameters (Python, Matlab, C++) and clearly understand tradeoffs.

• Model, research, and test solid state illumination, and pulsed power, optical power, heat.

• Hands on ability to build research test bench apparatus.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Physics, or related field. Strong familiarity with cameras, imaging systems, optics, Illumination, image sensors. Experience with security, automotive, or other camera systems are a big plus. Excellent communication skills. Organized. Experienced golfer desired.

Pay Range:

$107,500.00 - $168,100.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
