We are looking for a Sourcing Directo r to join our Precision Sports and Technology platform which consists of Bushnell Golf and Foresight Sports. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines. The Sourcing Director collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, identifies potential suppliers, negotiates contracts, and manages supplier relationships to ensure the best value for the organization.

This position reports to the Co-Presidents and is based out of San Diego, CA.

As the Director of Sourcing, you will have an opportunity to:

• Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and supplier capabilities to make informed decisions that benefit the company.

• Play a key role in risk management, ensuring continuity of supply and compliance with regulations.

• Define and implement near-term and long-term sourcing strategies.

• Affect change across different functions in the business and apply best practices.

• Effective leadership of the sourcing teams.

• Expertise in product cost management, from ideation through bulk production.

• Focus on supply market intelligence through opportunity identification and validation, supplying market research, market forecasts, and external market analyses.

• Develop and measure supplier performance, resolve customer issues, and focus on supplier development. Integrate data and collect information related to indirect spend management.

• Strategic vision for direct supply management excellence through benchmarked processes and drive Continuous Improvement across all vendors.

• Executes critical cost-savings and vendor consolidation/transition projects currently underway.

• Build organizational awareness and support in combination with the dissemination of knowledge,

• Drive results and create a sense of urgency through process and project management.

• Change management as it relates to supplier development strategies.

• Keep up to date on category opportunities by benchmarking other industries to provide projects and programs custom to Precision Sports & Technology.

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree at a minimum.

• 5+ years of experience leading teams.

• Strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes are essential for success in this role.

• Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a talent for building effective partnerships with suppliers and internal teams.

• Experience in the consumer goods industry desired with experience managing domestic and global supplier networks. Must have experience managing sourced products, with additional commodities experience a plus.

• Has cross-functional and direct leadership experience. Collaborative leadership style -- able to communicate and partner well across functions and suppliers. Builds a winning culture of transparency, creativity, professionalism, and performance.

• Direct management experience is desired with experience managing remote personnel a plus.

Pay Range:

$143,800.00 - $227,900.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
