As the Head of Licensing & Business Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the licensing of products or services and developing new business opportunities. In this role, you will negotiate licensing agreements, partnerships, and collaborations with other companies to expand the company's reach and revenue streams. You will also identify potential business opportunities, conduct market research, and develop strategies to drive the organization's growth and success. This role requires a combination of business acumen, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and relationship-building abilities to drive innovation and create value for Revelyst.

This position reports to the CEO and is based out of Providence, Rhode Island.

As the Head of Licensing & Business Development, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Lead the development and execution of our licensing strategy from identifying potential partners to negotiating and executing licensing agreements.

  • Identify potential partners by analyzing market trends, conduct market research, and assess the financial viability to help maximize the brand’s exposure and revenue.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and maximize revenue, including potential M&A opportunities.

  • Analyze financial data, assess risks, and forecast revenue projections to inform decision-making.

  • Analyze market trends, conduct competitive research, and assess the financial viability of new ventures.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders to ensure that licensing opportunities align with the company’s overall brand strategy.

  • Negotiate and executive licensing agreements, while ensuring they align with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Foster strong with partners through regular communication, monitoring of performance, and providing support when needed.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

  • 10+ years’ experience in licensing, business development, and M&A strategy.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.

  • A strong understanding of copyright laws, licensing regulations, and intellectual properties is essential to the success of this role.

  • Strong understanding of the industry landscape, market trends, and competitive dynamics to make informed decisions that drive the organization's growth and success.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills will be essential in fostering relationships with key stakeholders and representing the company in negotiations.
