In line with our strategic priorities to simplify operations and leverage commonalities across our house of brands, a major point of emphasis for the IT organization at Revelyst today is eliminating technical debt. As such, we're seeking a BI Developer to design and create Tabular Cubes, SSIS integrations and SSRS reports. 

This role will leverage your understanding of complex business logic and your ability to build code for multi-lingual, multinational applications. Interfacing with other developers and architects on a global basis, you will own projects from the requirements phase and through deployment, ensuring that design and quality standards are met. Creativity, drive, initiative and customer service are imperative to success. You will work with users and/or Business Analysts to define BI requirements. From requirements, you will develop proofs of concept to validate ideas or technologies as we create and deliver data products (ie reports, dashboard/scorecards, self-service options, and BI query objects) that will streamline operations and scale with the business. As a member of the IT team, you will be responsible for on-going process improvements, developing a collaborative environment and building relationships with the business.

This position reports to the Sr. Director of ERP & Business Intelligence and allows you the flexibility to work from your home office.

As the Sr. BI Developer, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for data lifecycle, from source to reporting

  • Lead projects

  • Work with the business to gather requirements and document project scope

  • Design, develop and maintain Tabular models based on Operational Data Store and/or Enterprise Data Warehouse

  • Design and develop SSRS reports and SSIS integrations

  • Entity Relation Diagram (ERD) and metadata documentation of data services including Tabular models and SSRS Reports

  • Works with corporate IT to help manage and maintain the BI environment

  • Respond and resolve data discrepancies and performance issues related to Tabular models and SSRS Reports

  • Software Used: SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, Visual Studios, Azure Dev Ops

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years translating business requirements into SSRS reports, Tabular Models and SQL views and Stored Procedures

  • Proven experience with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SSMS, SSAS, SSIS) and Power BI

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse)

  • Experience with data architecture, including Enterprise Data Warehouse and Operational Data Store

  • Experience tuning queries to optimize for large datasets

  • Proven experience working with complex SQL Queries and multi-domain Enterprise Operational Data Store

  • Superior problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities with strong customer service orientation

You might also have:

  • Knowledge of ERP application and supply chain data

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing and B2B business processes

Pay Range:

$80,700.00 - $132,600.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
