Vista Outdoor eCommerce Analytics Manager - Vista Outdoor - REMOTE in Missouri
Vista Outdoor is leader in the Outdoor & Sporting Goods industry, and we are seeking a talented eCommerce Data Analytics Manager. This team member will support our Direct to Consumer (DTC) eCommerce business and provide our family of in-house brands (Business Units) with actionable data to help us derive key consumer insights and drive revenue and profitability online.
The eCommerce Data Analytics Manager must have experience with various ecommerce data collection platforms with the added ability of being able to build centralized dashboards to share across all business units and eCommerce stake holders. This individual will be responsible for processing several different types of data, including both offline but more specifically online and will work across our Business Insights internal teams and eCommerce teams at the brand level. It is expected that this candidate will be able to manage our existing data and analytics platforms to manage data requests from brands, corporate team members, and executives. They will also be expected to develop and architect a long-term DTC analytics strategy to ensure we are capturing the highest quality consumer data and managing this information in the best way possible. This will require consultation and partnership with several internal teams.
Candidates with previous reporting experience for Salesforce Commerce Cloud & Marketing Cloud experience would be preferred. Experience working with various data management platforms in a corporate environment along with the ability to work with various business intelligence third party vendors such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Power BI to build a fully integrated data collection and analytics ecosystem would be ideal.
Potential Candidates should enjoy solving complex technical problems and are able to work independently, while leveraging collaboration opportunities to develop and implement unique functionality required by our brands in order to remain competitive and innovative in their online Direct-To-Consumer business strategies. Candidates will be required to remain current on the latest BI and Data management innovations on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform and related analytics tools, to improve our customers online shopping and brand experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Review and validate customer data at point of collection
Design, develop and implement a centralized data warehouse for online business transactions data and insights
Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data at the brand and corporate level
Build reports to track all standard DTC metrics and help create full picture of our brands performance using various data attribution models
Create or discover new data procurement and processing programs
Cooperate with broader DTC teams, brand leadership and IT departments in order to deploy software to leverage big data use cases
Monitor analytics and metric results and present in an easily digestible format
Implement a cohesive data analysis methodology to help normalize our data consumption and reporting abilities across the entire organization
Review customer data to ensure integrity of data and compliance with current online data handling policies
Perform data profiling to help identify and understand anomalies
Perform data profiling to help identify customer groups and assist with the segmentation of consumers for more effective marketing campaigns
Develop any ad-hoc reporting required to track specific digital campaigns and improve our attribution models and knowledge to identify high performance digital marketing channels requiring additional investment
BS, Statistics or a related area, or relevant work experience
3 to 5 years of experience developing integrated data management and analytics environments
Data warehousing management, Data modeling and data mining, Business intelligence
Experience with popular BI tools, and software such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, SQL, etc…
Proven POS and eCommerce business analysis to help bridge the gap between online and offline sales channels to achieve a better understand of our consumer buying preferences and habits
Experience with database management, run SQL queries and reporting
Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel and presentation software
Possess critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Highly effective communication skills and the ability to distill complex analytics into actionable and easy digest insights for our brand teams
Work collaboratively with multiple brands to refine and improve their online ability to target and engage with end consumers
Work collaboratively with brand marketing and eCommerce teams to implement marketing campaigns based on consumer insights in order to drive improved revenue and profitsExperience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Marketing Cloud analytics
Certified Google Analytics, MCSA: BI Reporting or similar industry accreditation required
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to write technical documentation & interpret business requirements
Real-time problem-solving exercises using Excel or other BI tools.
Previous experience in brand or corporate eCommerce business channel a plus
