Vista Outdoor Temporary Inspection Worker CCI/Speer in Lewiston, Idaho

Job Description

Our Lewiston, ID location is seeking Temporary Inspection Workers . These positions are short-term, lasting 6 months or less.

Anticipated start date of April 29th, or later.

Pay is $19.24/hr.

Shift Information: Ability to work any shift including Days, Swing, Weekend Days, and Weekend Swing.

Must be able to work 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be available to work schedules as assigned by supervision. There is no guarantee of a minimum number of hours.

  • Maintains good attendance within established standards.

  • Follow work instructions to safely, inspect, and package high quality CCI/Speer products and components.

  • Follow and improve manufacturing processes; document production records and statistics as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Ability to work independently without continual supervision

  • Must have demonstrated strong work ethic

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen

  • Eligible under the Gun Control Act to possess ammunition

  • Must be a US person

Physical Requirements:

  • Reaching, handling and manual dexterity to inspect and package.

  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds.

  • Good vision required: Position requires good vision to inspect product for quality.

  • Manufacturing environment: Exposure to noise is present and occasionally employees are exposed to dust and fumes. Safety equipment such as protective eyewear and earplugs are required and provided by the company.

Mental Requirements:

  • High attentiveness for safety.

  • Flexibility to move between jobs and to handle tasks simultaneously
