Vista Outdoor Digital Content Coordinator in Irvine, California

Job Description

Our Adventure Sports portfolio of Bell, Blackburn, CamelBak, Fox, and Giro are looking for a Digital Content Coordinator to join our team to accelerate the growth of our branded websites. You will be joining an iconic group of brands rapidly expanding our digital presence.

The Ecommerce team is focused on increasing brand awareness, loyalty, and sales through both traditional and emerging digital channels. The Digital Content Coordinator will contribute to the rider-direct digital initiatives through a variety of activities, including digital content development for web and multi-channel digital campaigns. Regular responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and creation or acquisition of engaging content developed for consumer-direct channels. Types of content may include editorial copy, photography, video, and digital campaign deliverables.

The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Digital Content and is a hybrid position working 3 days at our Irvine, CA headquarters and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate website updates to support campaigns and initiatives.

  • Build out scheduled content across landing pages and support campaigns using platform page builder content tool. Implement content for specific content buckets into the content management system ensuring structure aligns with internal best practices.

  • Work with Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams to ensure updates are properly uploaded and on schedule for launch.

  • Assisting content creation workflow via submitting creative requests, collaborating across teams, and gathering stakeholder feedback pre-launch.

  • Closely quality check and test all new content and added functionality to the site prior to releases.

  • Assist in new product launch initiatives; including but not limited to coordinating new product digital assets and messaging.

  • Create content plans, tracking, and report on progress to plan. Coordinate timelines, scheduling, and asset requests. Set deadlines and manage the tracking of deliverables to ensure that timelines are met.

  • Drive experience through partnership for website updates, new pages, and coordination of content activities.

  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team ensuring all written and visual content is on brand; Proofread and edit content to adhere to brand guidelines.

  • Manage content key initiatives tracker.

  • Monitor and analyze content activities to share top stories and develop next level recommendations for content, campaigns, and experiences.

  • Monitoring competitor analysis and sharing insights and recommendations that could provide improved content performance.

  • Assist pulling relevant content data to report on KPIs.

  • Identify and apply process improvements.

  • Stay abreast of industry content trends and actively share new insights.

  • Regularly report on site traffic and performance metrics tied to content.

  • Conducting ad hoc keyword, competitor, and industry research to support new content initiatives.

  • Supporting the creation of content performance reports, working with team members to assess performance and identify trends and opportunities to improve or build upon content.

  • Actively participate in team strategy sessions and brainstorming for content campaigns and monthly content calendar.

  • Keep a pulse on social media feedback and questions to help inform future content ideas.

  • QA and optimize content experiences for across all devices including mobile first.

  • Execute ongoing optimization tactics to increase the visibility of content (E.g., internal linking, content updates).

  • Providing documentation and organizational support to ensure all initiatives are cataloged and insights are leveraged for future content

Qualifications:

Pay Range:

$55,400.00 - $83,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
