Vista Outdoor Sourcing & Product Development Assistant - Venor in Anoka, Minnesota
We are looking for production/apparel sourcing assistant for an early-stage women’s brand, Venor, a subsidiary of Vista Outdoor, who will join a team of rock stars and will support all facets of the design process. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the development process of private label apparel and accessories. This role supports the lead designer to design and source product appropriate to the target customer. This role is expected to respond to business objectives with creative, innovative and cost effective design solutions.

Support all go-to-market calendar activities as directed by head of sourcing & production
Daily coordination with domestic and overseas supply base on all on submit and overall production status
Manage supplier WIP reports and communicate any changes and or escalate emerging issues impacting delivery
Assist with creating development sheets and data entry
Manage the tracking of samples to ensure that they arrive correct and on time to meet calendar due dates
Communicate daily with suppliers regarding all WIP as directed by head of production
Track all deliverables and monitor production deadlines
Create and maintain seasonal files
Conduct research into product improvements as needed
Create weekly status and or issue reports as needed
Maintain sample archive at Venor headquarters, to include tracking, receipts, and organization
Assist with managing outgoing and incoming packages with the team
Assist with building and maintaining fabric and wash library
Data entry and or system maintenance as required by the business as needed
2-3 years’ experience in a retail environment, preferably supporting a supply chain function and or garment production experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Keen sense of urgency
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to work under pressure in an environment of potential shifting of priorities and changes.
Strong skills in MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Highly organized, detail oriented and thorough
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
